APPLICATIONS FOR TRIALS FOR TEAM POSITIONS:

 

All domestic and foreign players wishing a trial with the Toronto Lynx Soccer Club or the Toronto Lady Lynx Soccer Clubs are invited to forward their resumes to lynx@lynxsoccer.com or by fax at 416-251-7054. Due to the enormous number of resumes received daily, we cannot respond to all requests. Resumes are forwarded to the coaching staff for consideration. Please do not send resumes as an attachment. Send in cut and paste format.

 

CO-OP/INTERN POSITIONS:

 

The Toronto Lynx accept candidates for internships beginning in September of every season. Priority is given to candidates pursuing an education in the Sports Administration field of Ontario Colleges and Universities. All candidates receive an honorarium or negotiated salary depending on the position. Full time seasonal staff for the upcoming season is usually selected from interns that have completed a successful internship with the club.

 

We further accept high school interns from local high schools wishing to pursue a career in sports marketing. Preference is given to interns who can commit to the whole school year or a full semester. Students receive personalized one on one training with daily, weekly and term evaluations.

 

Foreign students who are frequenting English Language schools in Toronto are also accepted throughout the year. Positions include: direct marketing, data entry, researching new clients. Full evaluation and letter of reference as appropriate provided at the end of the term.

 

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:

 

The Toronto Lynx welcome high schools students wishing to grow their volunteer hours by volunteering either for game day duties or front office assistance. This is a wonderful opportunity to not only grow your volunteer hours but to also to increase your experience in the sports marketing field.

 

FRONT OFFICE POSITIONS:

 

The Toronto Lynx Soccer Club has the following departments in place with full time staff overseeing each department:

TICKET/SPONSORSHIP SALES POSITIONS:

 

The Toronto Lynx provides the opportunity for effective sales persons to sell ticket packages (season packages, partial season packages, group sales) on a commission basis year round. Sponsorship sales will work directly with the Director of Sales and Marketing, Mike LeBlanc who can be reached at 416-251-4625 ext. 23. All interested candidates should forward their interest and resumes to lynx@lynxsoccer.com or fax to 416-251-7054 to the attention of Nicole Hartrell.

 

FAN CLUB EXECUTIVE POSITIONS:

 

All Soccer fans wishing to be considered for a position on the executive of the official Toronto Lynx Supporters Club can forward their background and interest to lynx@lynxsoccer.com or fax to 416-251-7054 which will be forwarded to the president of the Club for consideration. The Club meets several times a year for planning events and marketing strategies. The time commitment will vary with the position assumed.
