TUESDAY DECEMBER 11, 2007 (TORONTO, ON)
The Toronto Lynx Soccer Club announced today that they will hold an open tryout session on December 20 at Hershey SportZone in Mississauga.  The club will be evaluating high-level amateur talent in preparation for the Lynx' sophomore season in the Premier Development League in 2008.

Head coach Duncan Wilde will return to guide the Lynx in 2008 and will be looking to identify elite Ontario talent for his squad to build upon a strong debut season in 2007 which saw the Lynx finish in fourth place in the highly-competitive Great Lakes Division of the PDL with a 6-6-4 record.  The Lynx will have a strong core of returning players in place for the campaign, but roster spaces are open for elite-level players wishing to showcase their skills in North America's premier amateur league.

The PDL is the highest level of amateur soccer in North America and provides a professional environment for elite amateur and college players and is a proven testing ground for players that aspire to reach the highest levels of the game.   Further information about the  PDL  can be found at www.unitedsoccerleagues.com
