Match Summary:
 
The Toronto Lady Lynx continued their winning streak on the road this evening, beating the Boston Renegades 4-3 after overtime.
 
The match was at a 0-0 stalemate until Kim Warner took the lead for Toronto in the 68th minute. Kristen Habenicht added one more for Toronto ten minutes later.
 
Boston struck back immediately, with Marissa Brown making it 2-1 one minute after Habenicht had found the back of the net.  Brown sent the game into overtime with her injury time equalizer.
 
There were no goals in the first half of added time. Kim Warner struck again early into the second extra interval, but substitute Sarah Johnson cancelled out Warner's strike with her goal for Boston.
 
Heather Macdougal, who was introduced for Greco in overtime, sent Toronto's bench into a frenzy with her strike right before the final whistle. It was 4-3 to visiting Toronto as full time sounded.  Tonight's match was marked by offensive undertones, with a total of 33 shots being recorded between both clubs.  Five cautions were handed out.
 
Toronto Lady Lynx Head Coach Brett Mosen was in awe of tonight's match.  "It was a fantastic game.  This is the best match I have seen at this level in many years."
 
Mosen was also full of praise for his squad; "We produced a great performance. The whole team showed true character bouncing back each time."
 
Tonight's result leaves the Lady Lynx with a perfect record of 7-0-0, and comfortable lead in the W-League's Eastern Division, Northern Conference.  The Lady Lynx continue their campaign on the road when they play the Long Island Lady Riders tomorrow night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM.      
 
Notes: Toronto entered tonight's match with a perfect record of 6-0-0, compared to Boston's record of 3-2-0.  Toronto had only conceded 2 goals after 6 games.  Kim Warner, who scored twice in the Lady Lynx' last match was not in tonight's starting eleven.  Joanna Alexopolous, Natalie Martineau, Amanda Chicchini, and Deana Everett did not feature in tonight's match.
