The Toronto Lady Lynx won their fourth straight match of the season this afternoon, downing the Sudbury Canadians 3-0 at the Lilly Sports Complex in Sudbury.

 

Toronto entered this afternoon’s match with a perfect 3-0-0 record with 15 goals scored and none conceded.  Sudbury came into this afternoon’s match looking for their first win of the season, having dropped all 4 of their previous matches.  The Lady Lynx had defeated Sudbury in all three meetings of last year’s W-League campaign, accumulating an aggregate score of 13-1 through those three matches.

 

Toronto continued their winning streak against Sudbury today through goals by Deana Everett, Vonya Beckles, and Chantalle Dugas.  Everett’s goal brought her tally to seven goals in four games this season. 

 

The Lady Lynx have now scored 18 goals through 4 games, and have not conceded a single goal in 360 minutes of play.     

 

Today’s victory leaves the Lady Lynx with a 4-0-0 record and reaffirms their top position in the W-League’s Eastern Conference-Northern Division.
